Trilith Guesthouse announced their partnership on Nov. 11 during Leap for Literacy’s 100th published book celebration at the Town Stage in the Town at Trilith. Leap for Literacy, founded by children’s book author Stan Tucker, is removing the financial barriers that prevent low-income students from obtaining sought-after books by using kindness as currency; in the process, creating lifelong readers, writers, and countless opportunities for children to learn and grow.

Fayetteville, Ga. (Nov. 30, 2023) – Trilith Guesthouse (350 Trilith Parkway, Fayetteville, Georgia), the new 193-room boutique hotel whose story will begin with its January 2024 opening, has announced its partnership with local nonprofit Leap for Literacy. Leap for Literacy, founded by children’s book author Stan Tucker, is removing the financial barriers that prevent low-income students from obtaining sought-after books by using kindness as currency; in the process, creating lifelong readers, writers, and countless opportunities for children to learn and grow. Trilith Guesthouse announced their partnership on Nov. 11 during Leap for Literacy’s 100th published book celebration at the Town Stage in the Town at Trilith.

“This hotel is designed to awaken and inspire the storyteller in us all, a perfect complement to Leap for Literacy’s mission to inspire kindness and change stories,” said James Green III, General Manager of Trilith Guesthouse. “We’re very excited to help support their efforts to increase literacy for our next generation of storytellers everywhere.”

Joe Collier, President and Founder of Mainsail Lodging & Development, one of the companies behind Trilith Guesthouse, was the keynote speaker at the Nov. 11 event marking publication of Leap for Literacy’s 100th book written by students from across the United States as part of its “Share Your Story” program. According to Collier, the new partnership with Leap for Literacy will include several different initiatives at the hotel, including the onsite display and sale of a collection of these books written by student authors.

“By purchasing these books, our guests will directly support Leap for Literacy’s mission,” said Collier. “And what could be a better take-home gift for a child from a traveling parent or friend than a book written by a child?”

As part of the partnership, associates of Trilith Guesthouse will be encouraged to volunteer to support Leap for Literacy, helping increase literacy rates and change the stories of local students. Leap for Literacy and Trilith Guesthouse are also planning an annual event that will bring awareness to the organization and raise funds to support future initiatives. Details will be announced soon on the Trilith Guesthouse website and social media pages.

“We’re delighted to welcome Trilith Guesthouse as our newest community supporter,” said Stan Tucker, founder of Leap for Literacy. “Beyond the shared core value of kindness, a hotel founded on the importance of inspiring and changing stories is the perfect fit for promoting literacy. We’re excited to make this a productive and long-lasting partnership for the children in [and out of] our community.”

Scheduled to open January 2024, Trilith Guesthouse sits proudly at the main entrance of the European-inspired Town at Trilith in Fayetteville, Georgia, adjacent to Trilith Studios, a premier film and television studio in North America. Designed to inspire creativity and collaboration, the five-story, 193-key boutique hotel will include 36 apartment-style studios and one-bedroom suites; a signature street-level restaurant; fifth-floor rooftop bar; culinary studio; and indoor/outdoor event spaces spanning more than 17,000 square feet. Trilith Guesthouse will become a member of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio of independent boutique hotels and is currently accepting reservations for Feb. 1, 2024, and beyond.
